LatexMate.com ("ReadyData", "we", "us", or "our") helps you extract, convert, and analyze information from documents and other supported files. This policy explains how we handle your files, analysis results, and personal information when you use our website and services.
Your files and results at a glance
- Your content remains yours. We claim no ownership or other intellectual property rights in your uploaded files or the content returned from processing them.
- Small files go directly to our AI providers for processing, without being saved in our file storage bucket.
- Large files are temporarily stored in our Cloudflare storage bucket so they can be sent to or retrieved by our AI providers for processing and analysis. These temporary files are scheduled for automatic deletion after one day (24 hours).
- We do not keep a permanent copy of your uploaded files or store your analysis results. Download your results from your browser promptly.
- We use your files and results only to carry out your request. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, or use them to train our own AI models.
These commitments describe ReadyData's handling of your content. AI providers have their own processing and retention practices, explained below.
How file processing works
When you choose an AI processing feature, we send the file content and your processing instructions to the AI provider needed to complete your request. Depending on the feature, this may include extracted text, images, or selected portions of a file.
Files small enough to include in the processing request are sent directly to the AI provider through our service. Files that exceed the request's size limit are temporarily uploaded to our Cloudflare storage bucket. The provider can then retrieve the file for analysis. The transport method depends on the size of the request and the processing feature you use.
Our temporary storage has a one-day (24-hour) retention period, after which files are scheduled for automatic deletion. Deletion runs through the storage service's cleanup process, so it may not occur at the exact 24-hour mark. This is temporary processing storage, not a file library or backup service. The one-day period applies to our Cloudflare bucket; it does not describe retention by AI providers.
Features that process a file entirely in your browser do not send that file to an AI provider or our storage bucket.
Analysis results and downloads
The extracted data, tables, summaries, and other results generated from your files are returned to your browser. We do not store these analysis results on our servers or in your account for later retrieval.
Download any results you want to keep as soon as processing finishes. Refreshing or closing the page, ending a session, or clearing browser data may cause you to lose access to them. We cannot restore results that we have not stored. Copies you download remain on your device under your control.
Your ownership and our limited permission
You retain the rights you hold in your files. ReadyData does not claim ownership, copyright, or any other intellectual property rights in your uploads or processing results. Uploading a document does not make it public or give other users permission to use it.
You give us only the permission needed to receive, temporarily store where necessary, transmit, and process your content to deliver the service you request. We do not use this permission to publish your content, promote our business with it, or use it for unrelated purposes. See our Terms of Service for more information.
Service providers
We use the following providers to operate ReadyData:
- Google: AI processing and analysis. Google may also process account information when you choose Google sign-in. See the Gemini API terms and Google Privacy Policy.
- OpenRouter: Access to AI models for processing and analysis. Requests routed through OpenRouter are also processed by the model providers serving those requests. See the OpenRouter Privacy Policy and provider data policies.
- Cloudflare: Temporary file storage and infrastructure services, including security and abuse prevention. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Website and application hosting. Requests pass through Vercel's infrastructure, which may process technical request and operational log data. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: Payments, subscriptions, and fraud prevention. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
AI processing requires the relevant provider to receive your content. A provider's retention, abuse monitoring, and use of data depend on its terms and the settings applicable to the service. Our decision not to store analysis results is not a promise that every provider processes data without retaining it. Deleting a temporary file from our Cloudflare bucket does not itself delete copies held by an AI provider.
Account, billing, and technical information
Our file and result retention commitments do not mean that ReadyData stores no information about your use of the service. We process other information needed to operate your account and the website:
- Account information: Identifiers, email address, name, profile image, and other information provided through sign-in, together with account and organization settings.
- Billing and usage records: Subscription status, purchases, credits, transaction identifiers, and processing usage needed to manage access and billing. Stripe handles payment details; we do not store full payment card numbers or card security codes.
- Technical and security information: IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, processing status, token usage, and diagnostic metadata needed to operate the service, troubleshoot failures, and prevent abuse.
- Support communications: Information you choose to send us when asking for help. Avoid attaching confidential documents unless they are necessary for your request.
We use this information to provide the service, manage accounts and payments, respond to support requests, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We keep it only for as long as needed for those purposes, including applicable accounting and recordkeeping requirements. The one-day temporary file rule does not apply to these records or to material you separately send to support.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, payment functionality, and preferences. Browser storage may also keep account state on your device. Read our Cookie Policy for details and available controls.
Security, disclosures, and international processing
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Only submit content you are authorized to share with the service and its processing providers.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable protections depend on the service, location, and relevant data protection requirements. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. Such disclosures do not grant ownership of your content.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to restrict or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To ask about these rights or request account deletion, contact us using the support contact displayed on LatexMate.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some billing, security, or legally required records may need to be retained. We cannot supply or recover files or results that we no longer hold.
Children
ReadyData is not intended for children under 13 or under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
For privacy questions, contact us using the support contact displayed on LatexMate.com. Please identify your request as a privacy inquiry and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
