These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LatexMate.com ("ReadyData", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and our Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies.
Using ReadyData
ReadyData provides tools to extract, convert, and analyze information from documents and other supported files. Some features use AI providers, while others run locally in your browser. Available formats, processing limits, features, and prices are shown in the service and may change over time.
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. The service is not intended for children under 13 or under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you are below the age of majority in your location, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. If you use ReadyData on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to accept these Terms for it.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure, providing accurate account information, and the activity carried out through your account. Notify us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Your files and results belong to you
ReadyData claims no ownership, copyright, or other intellectual property rights in the documents and files you upload or in the content returned after processing them. You retain all rights you hold in your original materials. As between you and ReadyData, any rights in processing results belong to you to the extent those rights exist under applicable law.
Uploading a file does not transfer ownership to us, make it public, or give other users a license to access or use it. We do not acquire the right to sell your content, publish it, use it in marketing, or use it for unrelated purposes.
This does not create rights that neither you nor ReadyData otherwise has. Third-party rights may still apply to source materials or results, and AI output may not be unique or eligible for intellectual property protection. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the materials and results is permitted.
Permission limited to processing your request
To provide the service, you authorize us and the providers involved in your request to receive, transmit, analyze, convert, and, where necessary, temporarily store your files and produce results for you. This permission is limited to delivering the processing you request and does not transfer ownership of your content.
We do not use your uploaded files or analysis results to train our own AI models, advertise to you, or develop unrelated products. Provider processing is subject to the applicable provider terms and policies described in our Privacy Policy.
You must own the materials you submit or have the rights, permissions, and legal authority needed to submit them and have them processed. This includes any permissions required for personal information or confidential material contained in a file.
File handling and automatic deletion
For AI processing, small files are sent directly to our AI providers through the service without being saved in our storage bucket. Large files are temporarily stored in our Cloudflare bucket so they can be sent to or retrieved by an AI provider for processing and analysis.
Temporary files in our bucket have a one-day (24-hour) retention period and are then scheduled for automatic deletion. The exact deletion time depends on the storage service's cleanup process. This period applies to our bucket, not to any retention by AI providers.
We do not provide permanent storage or backups for uploaded files. We do not store analysis results on our servers or in your account for later retrieval. Download your results promptly from your browser and keep your own copies of your original files. Closing or refreshing the page or clearing browser data may cause results to become unavailable. We cannot restore content we have not retained.
AI results and your responsibility to review them
AI results can contain errors, omissions, incorrect interpretations, or invented information. Review extracted text, tables, calculations, and other outputs against the original material before relying on them. You are responsible for deciding whether a result is suitable for your intended use.
ReadyData does not provide professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice. Processing a document does not verify its authenticity or guarantee that the result is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Acceptable use
You may use ReadyData for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not:
- Upload or process material in violation of another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Use the service for fraud, unlawful surveillance, exploitation, or other illegal activity.
- Upload malicious code, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another person's account or data.
- Bypass security checks, usage limits, payment requirements, or other access controls.
- Misrepresent AI results or use them to deceive or harm others.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements.
Payments, subscriptions, and credits
ReadyData offers free and paid features. Prices, credit requirements, and plan limits are displayed in the service or at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
If you purchase a recurring subscription, it renews at the interval shown at checkout until canceled. You can cancel through the account billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund charges already paid. Except where applicable law or an express offer requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
Applicable taxes and the total amount payable are shown at checkout or on your invoice. Usage credits and access are subject to the terms displayed for the plan or purchase. We may send account and billing communications needed to administer your service.
If we change a recurring subscription price, the change will take effect no earlier than your next renewal or 30 days after notice, whichever is later. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
Providers and service availability
ReadyData uses Google and OpenRouter for AI processing, Cloudflare for temporary storage and infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payments. OpenRouter may route requests to the model providers serving them. These services may have their own terms, availability limits, and data handling practices.
We work to keep ReadyData available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Processing may fail or be delayed, and features may be updated or discontinued. Nothing in these Terms removes remedies you are entitled to under applicable law.
ReadyData's own intellectual property
ReadyData's software, branding, website design, and original service materials remain the property of ReadyData or their respective owners. These rights do not extend to your uploaded files or processing results. Using the service does not grant permission to copy or resell our software or branding beyond what applicable law permits.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI results or the availability of files and results after your session.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ReadyData is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or overrides mandatory consumer rights.
Changes, account closure, and contact
You may stop using ReadyData at any time. To request account deletion or report a content rights issue, contact us using the support contact displayed on LatexMate.com. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate requests; use the billing controls to stop future renewals.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. We will provide notice of material changes where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
